Rosie stood up and stroked Aslan's head gently. She knew how much Lily meant to Aslan. Without the man telling her, seeing him saddened after hearing about Lily's condition, it proved that Lily had become one of his closest friends. Aslan was not willing to let Lily go.
"Like you have said earlier… Can you accompany me?" asked Aslan. "I mean, accompany me to give Lily good memories for one last time."
Rosie smiled, then nodded. "Of course…"
The man sighed in relief. He gave Lily a dejected look one last time. Aslan took a deep breath, then exhaled it slowly to bring back the iconic flat expression on his face. He didn't want the people in the castle to see him sad.
"Alright, I will prepare everything. Wait a minute," Aslan said, turning to leave Rosie in the stable alone.
