The dusky gown of evening had come, and it was time for Rosie to head to the village to join the welcoming party and also May's birthday. Aslan didn't come with her. She even forbade the man to leave the house because he had to rest well before joining Barl to go sailing tomorrow.
Rosie was wearing her best dress with her hair neatly styled. Aslan could only look at her and let out a long sigh. His wife was too beautiful to go alone. Even though this island was safe because of its small population and harmonious life, he still felt worried about the men who might fall in love with his wife later.
"I'll be leaving first. Can you make your own medicine? As I explained earlier," Rosie said, turning to Aslan, who was lamenting his fate on the bed.
Aslan deeply regretted his decision to allow the girl to go alone. If he had known that his wife would be this beautiful, he probably wouldn't have let Rosie go out and just lock her in the house instead.
