After talking for a while, Rosie concluded that Stu and Gary both like May, but the girl didn't like anyone. Even when Rosie asked if Ludwig also liked May, the boy said no because he already liked May's sister.
Well, it was quite surprising for a small child because Ludwig sounded very serious when he said this. It made Rosie feel a bit flustered because Ludwig turned out to be a cool kid.
The sun was already high, so Ludwig invited Rosie to come back to meet the other three friends. From the place they split up, May invited her friends to go straight to the beach.
After arriving at the beach, Rosie collected their four baskets so the four of them could have lunch comfortably.
"You didn't take your lunch with you, Mrs. Montgomery?" asked Stu with a mouth full of vegetables.
"No. I only made one lunch this morning, and I gave it to my husband. I didn't know we would be collecting mushrooms for half a day."
