"Good morning, Mrs. Montgomery!" greeted May, and followed by loud greetings from the boys behind her.
"Where are you going early in the morning like this?" asked Rosie who left her house to approach the four small children.
The four stopped near a small river that was two steps the width of the adults.
"We'll look for scallops on the beach and mushrooms in the south," May replied cheerfully.
"Scallops? Are you looking for some kind of edible scallops?" May nodded her head.
"Tomorrow Barl will go to Cain Island to find fish and sell them. I want to collect a lot of mushrooms and scallops to sell to Barl."
"Oh… and you guys are going to get some money?"
May nodded with a big smile on her face. Rosie noticed that one of the child's teeth was broken at the bottom right.
"Um… my husband is going to look for wood soon, and I don't know what to do. Can I come with you guys? I also want to get to know the area of the island."
