Aslan got up from his chair and gripped Rosie's hand. He pinned it on the table. Rosie widened her eyes in surprise because she didn't expect Aslan to respond like this. She swallowed hard. Her heart beat faster when Aslan gave her a sharp look.
"Your Highness, I have given the highest tolerance while you were in this castle. You are a princess and the sister of my friend. Thus, I have tried my best to respect you and not throw you out of my castle. However, I can't tolerate it anymore. Your attitude towards me is outrageous," Aslan said in a low voice.
Rosie had only planned to tease Aslan about the immoral meaning of the man's words. She did not know that she would be burned by the fire she was playing with.
"You don't know what adults can do. The books are just bullshit." Aslan lowered his gaze to Rosie's slightly parted lips, then to her exposed shoulders. "This is the last warning. Stop your play before you regret it later."
