"So they all went back to thier base? and most of the operations have been put to halt" Elijah frowned, The mafia must have taken him as a huge threat. 'Maybe they are thinking they are being targeted by an organization and not a single person' it made more sense after all, it was hard imagining a sole person doing this.
Elijah ended the miserable life of the person he got the information from, The man bled to his death, he had received a gasping cut on his neck.
After knowing were most of his targets were Elijah made a quick trip there. He arrived near a four floor building, it had all it's light's on. The building was situated near a industrial area. the area was residential area for workers in the industry sector.
Elijah Silently went circles to the building, when he wasn't seen he carefully drew some transmutation circles, It being night helped him a lot, otherwise he couldn't do it without being seen.
After covering all the sides of the building he summoned the grenades from his Arsenal,
"sweet" Elijah felt good being able to just summon them like this. He held the grenade and took out the pin and waited for three second's then threw them in through the window. He quickly teleported to other end and threw again and again . while throwing the third one the first one exploded.

Throwing the last one from the entrance of the building, he joined his hands and activated the transmutation circles, they detonated and blew away the main pillars of the building.

The grenades made a devastating explosion and due to the pillars being destroyed, the whole building came crashing down. And with it all the people in it died. The explosion took the lives of many and the crashing of the building took the lives of whoever survived.
Elijah could feel the souls rushing towards him and being absorbed by him. A sickening pleasure passed through him like Electricity.
"Uhh... ohh.. fuck.. " Elijah was in contradictory feeling of pleasure and disgust. He could feel his spiritual force getting excited, it was kind of vibrating that brought a pleasant sensation all over him. The amount of soul harvested was ridiculously huge and was absorbed at once. The sensation numbed all his senses and he was unaware of his surroundings, he could not even feel the intense heat of the fire in front of him.
To say the least he was drunk for a few seconds.
Ater coming back to reality he panted and breathed heavily "Damn that's dangerous, if I had enemies nearly I would be dead. " Elijah hurriedly checked his surrounding to make sure no one was watching him. He left leaving the huge fire that was growing behind him.
His next destination was set, it was the hotel named paradise. There were not many mafia people there. But Anna and her father were there so he wanted to tell them to leave the city. After all this they would be the only two people left of the mafia and other people may come after them to know what happened. Police and mafia were both equally dangerous for them.

Anna was sticked to the wall like a glue in fear of what was going on in front of her. Sweat trickled down her cheeks and her eyes wide open as she saw a massacre taking place right in front of her.
Elijah had barged in and started killing anyone who belonged to the mafia leaving the workers alone. The guest seeing such seen panicked and ran away screaming, some just fell on thier butts and pleaded mercy even though the sword was not pointing at them.
Elijah vanished and disappeared like a ghost, and each time he appeared a fountain of blood spurted from the headless bodies. Guns echoed widely and never seemed to stop and so did the screams of death.
Elijah had wore a mask to cover his face so that no one could identify him and report him to the police. After all life as a wanted criminal was not the life he wanted. From the ground floor to the top floor, Elijah went and harvested the poor souls and returned back to the ground floor. Anna was were he first saw her, she was still seemed dazed as if she could not comprehend what was going on. Only this time Alex, Anna's father stood between Elijah and Anna, he looked warily at Elijah , he had determined look in his eyes. He would do anything to protect his daughter.
Elijah was soaked wet and dripping with blood. His sword was tainted red that glistened bright due to the light around the room. Elijah removed his mask , but didn't meet Alex's eyes. He felt some guilt and a bit shame , not because he killed so many people but that he was relishing in bloodlust even though he didn't want to.
" I'm not going to do anything to you both, But you have to leave the city, it's no longer safe here and you could be implicated in many things" Saying that he took out a bundel of cash and placed it on the table, still not willing to look directly in Alex's eyes.
Alex looked at him piercingly and said in some what a hard tone "Elijah look at me in the eye" Which Elijah sheepishly complied. Looking at him Alex heaved a sigh of relief.
" well at least you don't look like your possessed"
saying that he came loser to Elijah and held his head tightly, staring right in Elijah's eyes "I don't know what's happening, But i can see Shame in your eye's lad, and that's not good. You didn't do anything to bring you shame"
" A man must live in honor and do things he must not regret.....but Elijah make sure you do not loose yourself along the way" He said in a strict but gentle tone.
"y-yes... " Elijah quickly looked down. Seeing him like that Alex smiled and patted his shoulder's. "I didn't like being in the mafia in the first place, I wanted to give my daughter a good future away from this dirty business but could not, I should actually thank you for giving me the chance, so I won't reject your intentions"
Saying that he grabbed the bundel of cash and glanced at Anna " How long are you going to stay like that, let's go.. " he said and walked away but before he left " Elijah you should leave too, Go become a hunter and join the league's of the Awakened... I Know you can certainly do it"
Anna hurriedly followed her father and gave one last look to Elijah, she stared at him for some time.
"Go" Elijah said softly like a whisper. After hearing that she said "Take care and try not die in a ditch" she said sarcastically in strong voice which was in contrast to her earlier behavior and left.
Elijah just stared dumbfounded at them leaving, then the police siren woke him up and he left too. The money he had given the father and daughter duo was from the boss's vault where there was ton of cash. He took most and gave some to them which was enough to go far away from here and start a new life.
