His brows where beaded with sweat as the confused expression on his face gradually cleared up.
He understood everything after he took in all of the memories that overwhelmed his mind.
He realized that he had transmigrated into this world and had been reborn as a teenager with the same name.
In this situation normal people would have gone crazy, but he was calm since he has no attachments back on earth.

The consequences where crushing, humans fell from the top of the food chain to the bottom.

Why did I end up in such grievous world? Alfred felt suffocated.
It was an absolute dangerous world, and even though he was living base city, it was still dangerous.
The teenager, whom Alfred possessed, had died due to depression, his parents had been killed in the apocalypse, and he was not an awakened so he dared not come out of his apartment, only coming out when he needs to.
Awakened are the few luck ones who had evolved and attained all sort of incredible abilities.
Flame control, mind control, x-ray vision, regeneration.....
The appearance of mana allowed mankind the ability to fight the monsters and beasts. With the awakened help humans constructed survival bases, and manage to survive.
Because the awakened defended mankind from the beasts and monsters. They have varieties of privilege and are of the upper class.
Alfred was getting restless has he was not an awakened. Just as he was thinking of ways to survive in this dangerous world he transmigrated to.
A holographic window appeared out of thin air in right in front of his sight.

[Dark Bullet]: You can release bullets of darkness to attack your enemies.
[Anti-life Shell]: You are surrounded with negative energy that heals undead while draining the life force of regular enemies.
