Chapter 1 - This Means War!

"There will be war! You have done the unforgivable act, Alberich. Our 4 kinds will never function properly! Ever!" Zeus shouted.

"You're one to talk. You Greeks are torn between two sides of yourself!" Bridget challenged.

"We elves stole nothing! Zeus, you might have stolen the one supreme yourself!" Alberich fumed, everything around him started to float a few inches in the air.

"Yes Zeus. The Greeks might have stolen it." Neptune said.

"We Greeks stole nothing! You filthy Romans are the ones who steal. I should know, you stole my statue from the Parthenon in Greece, turning me into Minerva! I am the goddess of war and wisdom and I will never be tame as you made me!" Athena shouted.

Bellona, the Roman goddess of war, drew her sword out. Athena drew hers out, too, and charged at Bellona.

"Stand down Athena. We aren't fighting. We all claim that none of us have stolen her. So, today, we will write a pact to severe all relations with each other. When the supreme one -"

"She has a name, Zeus. Her parents gave her a name before they gave her to us for our experiment." Bridget interrupted.

"The parents, yes. What to do about them? I doubt they will take this little mix up nicely." Alberich queried.

"I met them. Vivaan and Ananya. In case the girl ever does find her way back home, they will be perfect for her. Vivaan is in the Indian Army, so they keep moving. No one will be able to find her. Don't worry. A little charmspeak will do the job." Aphrodite said with her oh-so-sweet voice. No one realized, but she used charmspeak trying to convince them.

"Yes. So, as I was saying, when the child grows, she will undergo pain because of our experiment. When this pain comes, it will send out a signal allowing us to track her. The one who reaches her first, will get to teach her how to harness her powers, et cetera." Zeus stated.

"I concur. Zeus might actually be talking sense." Neptune muttered.

"I always talk sense." Zeus said.

"You keep telling yourself that buddy." Neptune mumbled.

"I see eye to eye with you, Zeus." Bridget responded.

"Aye. We can't trust each other anymore. This is best for all of us." Alberich agreed.

"I guess this is the last conventus quattuor then. If only..." Aphrodite pondered.
