Father Gu sneered and immediately turned to leave.
Gu Chengye saw that his father was about to give up and quickly chased after him. "Father, why don't I apologize to Chengrui on behalf of my mother and second aunt?"
"It's too late. Forget it." Father Gu shook his head and turned to walk into Mrs. Guo's room.
Gu Chengye immediately reached out to stop him and said, "Father, I don't think it's too late. The whole village is growing bean sprouts, so it might be an opportunity for us."
"An opportunity?" Father Gu paused for a moment, but his eyes immediately lit up." You mean to sell the sprouts?"
"Yes, think about it. If the villagers sell them alone, they won't find a good market. They can only peddle in towns or nearby villages because of the cold. They can't sell for any good price at all.
"But if we organize ourselves and use the oil mill's ships and channels to ship it out, it'll be different."
