While John was fighting kookaburra Sebastian and Gabriel were still in a stale mate for a few minutes before they both heard a loud roar and Sebastian laughing said
"seems kookaburra finished the human off but it's such a shame for a useful tool to die now let's continue our fight Gabriel!"
Before lunging with both katana's and slashed at Gabriel
Gabriel then blocked both katanas with his right greatsword then slashed at Sebastian with the one in his left hand but before Gabriel could hit him Sebastian teleported and said
"Retreat while you can because you can't face me and kookaburra in my own world"
Before hearing another roar and Sebastian said to mock Gabriel
"seems like the human put up a fight after all but it won't matter as no human could kill my kookaburra"
while Sebastian and Gabriel were waiting for kookaburra to walk through the broken door after about 5 minutes of waiting and a few pained roars Sebastian thought
'what's going on?! Where kookaburra? Don't tell me-!'
While Sebastian was thinking Gabriel tried to surprise attack by teleporting behind him
After failing the surprise attack Gabriel said with a smile before crossing both of his swords into the ground
"Seems the human is smarter than you think now let's dance! [Holy area of the chosen]"
Then the floor started trembling and as Sebastian was trying to run to the stairs where John and kookaburra went a golden transparent barrier in the form of a area blocked him
Sebastian after hitting it a few times to do no damage turned to Gabriel and yelled
"YOU BASTARD!!" Before growing two more arms and drawing two more katanas and charging Gabriel
Meanwhile John who was looking through every door that he saw couldn't find anything before he came to a heavy metal door the size of a skyscraper and tried pushing it and after a minute of trying John backed up and used [appraisal] on the door

A demon lords vault is said in legends to contain treasures beyond compare but no other species can open the vault door other then a demon or demonic creature
After seeing to door in front of him that could only be opened by a demon pulled out the Cerberus corpse to see if it worked
And after a minute nothing happened before the system gave a notification

John then smiled with joy as he remembered that Draco was a demonic dragon And said
"[soul companion summon] Draco!"
When Draco appeared on John shoulder lighting the vault door up as John was about to enter it the door shut
John who was so close yelled "what the hell?!"
Before noticing that Draco wasn't on his shoulder anymore to look around and see Draco inside of the Cerberus corpse eating some of it before popping it's head out of a wound made by John
As John was about to yell at it a system notification popped up

As John was watching Draco eat the Cerberus corpse he noticed that after eating the damaged heart Draco grew three times it's size and was now the size of a motorcycle
John after realizing the potential of the corpse for Draco said with a smile
"eat this dead Cerberus Draco! Quickly!"
After hearing it's masters command Draco immediately dived back into kookaburra's corpse and after a few minutes it was nothing but bones
Before John could call Draco over to open the door
He received a system notification

John then quickly looked at Draco's new skill

After consuming a Cerberus's monster core any soul pet can gain a corrosive breath capable of melting nearly anything
After John looked at the new skill he noticed that Draco grew to the size equivalent to 2 planes on top of each other And said before jumping on Draco's back while holding a fin from the back of its neck
"Let's go clear this rift [acid breath]!" While pointing to the vault door
Draco then roared loudly then shot a lime green flame at the door and after a few seconds it melted in half revealing a empty room the size of a football field with nothing but a wooden chest and a floating crystal near the sealing
John then used [appraisal] on the chest and the floating crystal

A demon has to forge a rift crystal by placing a portion of its soul into the crystal to become a demon lord

John after seeing the crystal thought
'If I destroy this I can weaken that bastard'
Before looking to Draco and saying while pointing to the crystal
"Destroy it!"
Draco then after hearing John opened it's 4 wings and fired another acid breath which was slowly melting it
While Draco was slowly melting the crystal John went to the wooden box and opened it to receive a system notification
(You have found demon lord Sebastian's demonic vault and have looted a wooden chest)

- 1 Cerberus egg [legendary]
- Ying and Yang katanas [mythical]
Then shortly after John received two notifications
(Your soul companion *Draco has destroyed demon lord Sebastian's rift crystal resulting in him becoming a weakened state)
(To complete the rift you must destroy demon lord Sebastian who is in his weakened state)
before yelling to Draco after seeing a melting crystal
"Let's go kill a demon lord!" Before running out of the melted vault door with Draco who shrank its size following after John
