~Change of scene, Babel, 50th floor~.
On the 50th floor of the tower of babel a woman with long black hair and emerald green eyes could be seen, this woman was sitting on a throne while *watching* Orario with unfocused eyes.
(image)
This woman was none other than Hera, and the reason her gaze was lost was because she was thinking about something, or someone....
"...Zeus... " murmured Hera unconsciously revealing the reason for the lost look in her eyes.
Yes, Hera was thinking about Zeus, as always.... Not that Hera was bad, on the contrary, despite being incredibly proud she had a certain attachment to the nether world, but as the goddess of marriage she always put Zeus before everything, EVERYTHING.
When she thought of her husband...
*stock* *stock* *stock*
A couple of knocks were heard at the door of the room.
Hera, who upon hearing the knocks did not look in their direction and merely said loudly and proudly.
"You may come in."
When the door opened a woman with silver hair and different colored eyes could be seen, gray the one on the left and green the one on the right.
This was none other than Alfia coming to inform her about Alex.
After a few seconds of silence, Hera regained the sparkle in her eyes and turned them towards Alfia.
"Ah, but if it's none other than Alfia, I imagine you've come to tell me something important, since I was thinking about something very important right now" said Hera, who was a bit irritated since they interrupted her train of thought about her *unbelievable* husband.
"Yeah, it sure was something very important" thought Alfia with obvious sarcasm.
Not wanting to waste any more of her goddess's *important* thoughts, she began to tell her about her encounter with Alex and everything that happened until she dropped him off at the medical room of her family's headquarters....

(30 minutes later)
"...so, you already found the boy that got away from you, right?", asked Hera, who, from all of Alfia's explanation, was only interested in the part about Alex being in one of her headquarters.
"...Yes," replied Alfia, who didn't change her expression when Hera asked her what she had just told her, but couldn't help but clench her fist tightly.
"That's good, considering you were the one who let him get away in the first place."
Alphia nearly popped a vein in her forehead, but avoided it at the cost of drawing a little blood in her already clenched fist to the limit.
"It seems Zeus is very interested in the child, find him and bring him here, I want to see him first, then I'll show Zeus," Hera said imagining how happy Zeus would be with her when he knew she had the child.
Alphia, who couldn't take it anymore, turned around to leave, she didn't want to keep seeing the face of her unbearable goddess.
After leaving the room and closing the door almost with a slam, she started walking back towards the headquarters to look for Alex who was still unconscious.

~Scene change, somewhere on the 18th floor of the dungeon~.
(30 minutes after Alex and Let parted ways).
"We have to go help him!!!" shouted Let in an almost desperate manner, he was very worried about Alex, he had seen first hand how tired he was, he didn't think he could last that long running away from the group of adventurers following them, and he even thought they might have caught him by now.
With that possible scenario Let was ready to go looking for Alex, but he knew that going after him alone was like suicide, so he quickly headed for the temporary XENOS shelter on the 18th floor.
When he told the leaders of the group, each of them had their own reaction....
Lyd, the lizardman, was ready to rush out to help Alex after learning from Let that he had managed to escape thanks to Alex.
(image)
Ray, the siren, was also supportive, but wanted to form a plan before doing anything.
(image)
But...
"no", that was what Gros, the Gargoyle, said, although deep down he wanted to help Alex, he wasn't willing to risk the whole group just for one person.
(image)
Fels had informed them that several first class adventurers were on floors 1 through 18 so he wasn't willing to risk it for Alex.
"What do you say Gros we have to go help him!!!" shouted Lyd.
"we can't do anything for the kid, there are first class adventurers on every floor from the 18th down, if anything we should move to deeper floors so they can't find us!"
"..."
"..."
Lyd and Ray as leaders of the XENOS knew this information, they could only remain silent as Gros was right.
"We can't do anything," those words made Lyd clench both fists tightly, he was angry at himself for being weak and not being able to help one of his own.
Ray was in a similar situation but would not let him see it.
Let seeing this, understood that they would not hivan, no, they could not help Alex.
"I'll go" Let said suddenly as he turned to leave, but Gros said something that made him stop in his tracks.
"You'll only make his sacrifice in vain."
"...," Let clenched his fists until the blood came out of them.
"Go and inform the others, we're heading for the village on the 24th floor," Gros spoke again, this time ordering Let.
"...", Let nodded his head without looking at Gros and then went to do the task Gros gave him.
After Let left the cave, he was followed by Ray and behind her by Lyd, leaving Gros alone.
"Sigh...", Gros could only sigh at this situation, currently all 3 of them were level 4, haci they would be easily killed by some first class adventurer, that's why he decided to leave Alex to his fate.
"Sorry kid" thought Gros in his mind, he felt quite admiration for this new companion who had become the decoy on purpose for Let to escape, but he couldn't do anything, he was too weak to do anything....
