They bumped to each other on the way out of the bathroom. Not of any coincidence or any part where fate tangled them both, but it happened. Zella and Leo looked at each other yearningly, seemingly thriving to know if they should talk or not. Zella held her purse tightly.
Leo didn't walk past ahead like they don't know each other. He was avoiding this moment, but Leo wouldn't be able to. Zella was trying to find the exact second, and it came unexpectedly.
He didn't say anything. He pursed his lips, backed down from Zella's stare, and surprisingly, walked away without a single word. Zella was too stunned to speak. She was like an invisible post that has nothing to do with Leo.
Her jaw dropped, flummoxed, and an ache burst in her chest.
How can Leo do that to her? How should she even react to his like?
Zella recovered, asking loudly,"Why are you avoiding me?"
