She couldn't take her eyes off of him. Leo perceived everything as easy. He thought it wasn't difficult to stay in one room with him—the killer of Zella's family. The one who ordered to slit their throats, and the reason she got imprisoned unfairly.
"You insisted that everything is easy when it's not. Don't you feel guilty seeing me?"
Zella leaned forward, her eyes accusing Leo's existence. She had to stop worrying about him, but she couldn't. The anxiousness raised the bar before she took control. Zella's heart beat fast whenever Leo's around. Her brain thinks of him every night, even if he's one room away.
