Chapter 18 - Pack Party 1

Logan's smirk spoke volumes, leaving Anna with little room to object as he declared, "I want you to accompany me to a pack party." Casting a glance over at Lydia, who was deeply engrossed at the dining table, he continued, "Lydia, you're coming with us. I won't take no for an answer. Consider it a thank-you dinner for everything you've done for me."

Lydia glanced up from her work, her brow furrowing with a mixture of surprise and uncertainty. "A pack party?" she echoed, her voice tinged with curiosity and apprehension.

Nodding, Logan's expression turned serious. "Yeah, it's a chance for us to celebrate and bond as a pack. Plus, it'll be good for you to see how we operate outside of our usual routine."

Lydia deliberated for a moment, her thoughts evident in the furrow of her brow before she sighed and reluctantly agreed, "Alright, I'll come. But only because you won't take no for an answer."

Logan's triumphant grin widened, pleased with his persuasive skills. "Great! It's settled then. We'll head out after dinner tonight. I'll fill you both in on the details on the way," he declared, turning to Anna with a glint of excitement in his eyes. "Get ready, it's going to be a night to remember."

As the evening approached, anticipation buzzed in the air. Logan practically vibrated with excitement, while Lydia and Anna exchanged nervous glances. Despite their apprehension, they couldn't deny the curiosity pulling them towards the unknown.

Anna rose from her seat and made her way upstairs to her room. Upon entering, she took a moment to admire the bright yellow sun-colored walls, her favorite color that never failed to uplift her spirits.

"Hmm, my favorite color," she murmured softly to herself, a fond smile playing on her lips.

The room was adorned with white trim, and the curtains matched the sunny hue of the walls. Anna spun around, feeling a surge of excitement building within her.

"Change, remember?" Lydia's playful voice echoed in her mind.

Turning to her friend, Anna grinned as Lydia handed her a dress, her face lighting up with excitement. "This is just perfect!" Lydia squealed, ushering Anna into the bathroom to change.

As Anna slipped into the dress and glanced at herself in the mirror, she couldn't help but feel a mix of nerves and excitement. The dress hugged her curves nicely, and she knew she looked good.

Exiting the bathroom, Anna was greeted by Lydia's enthusiastic grin. "You look stunning!" Lydia exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Anna laughed, feeling a blush creep up her cheeks at the compliment. "Thanks, Lydia."

They exchanged places, with Anna now helping Lucia with her hair. Once finished, Lydia took charge of Anna's makeup, adding just the right touches to enhance her features.

"It will bring a lot of attention," Lydia whispered, a mischievous twinkle in her eye.

Anna chuckled nervously, feeling a flutter of excitement in her stomach as she imagined the night ahead. With a final touch of lipstick, she was ready to face whatever the pack party had in store.

"You look so amazing!" Lydia cried out.

"Thank you, Lydia! You look beautiful as well," Anna smiled warmly as she returned the hug.

Lydia beamed at the compliment before taking Anna's hands in hers. "Let's get going. I'll clean this up later," she suggested, her excitement evident in her voice.

With a nod of agreement, Anna followed Lydia out of the room, anticipation building with each step they took. Tonight was going to be a night to remember.
