Early in the morning, Lief is already preparing for the opening of the store, and he has new help
Lief: The newly arrived products must be stacked today on the front shelf, please go get the boxes, Roland
Roland: Gladly will Mr. Leif ( he then goes to the storage and take the boxes that hold the new products ).
( Roland is a 16 years old lad that was sent by the Pillar to work as Lief's apprentice, he has to learn from Lief for him to be hired as a regular )
While sweeping the floor, Lief noticed the small dirt on one of the shelves but the thing is that his hand is quite big to fit in the small compartment, so he called one of the apprentices that have a smaller hand
Lief: I'm on a pickle here, can you help me, Yza? my hand can't reach the spot
Yza: Sure Mr. Lief ( comes beside Lief, and cleans the spot that Lief has told her )
( Yza is a 15 years old lady who was recruited by one of the shareholders of the Pillar, she was sent to the boutique to also learn from Lief, she's a mix of Mexican and Filipina descent which makes her appearance a total eye-catcher )
Exactly 9 in the morning, the shop opens up, and different customers poured in to check the newly offered products, as the usual goes, Lief talked to the customers, and Roland constantly cleans the floor and other parts of the store while Yza is busy checking their area through the surveillance cameras.
While writing their sales report, Lief was seeing a particular person that walks around inside their store, he knew that the person is there for a different business.
Lief: Have you finally decided on what to pick, officer Harvey?
Harvey: Hah! it's you again, I mean your company, right?
Lief: On what topic are we referring to officer Harvey?
Harvey: Oh come on pretty boy, you can be honest with me, last night, your company was the one responsible for that, right?
Lief: I'm not sure if I can discern what you mean sir?
Harvey: Well, either way, I brought with me a newly graduated pal ( wave to the other police officer inside their police car ) so be careful now, t'was his hunch that leads us here
Lief: ( Look in Harvey's eyes with a confused face ) Well, I'll be very pleased to help you dear officers in any way I can
Harvey : ( takes some complimentary donuts and put them inside his hat and leaves the store, but he said something to Lief before he left ) Yeah, please do help us, pretty boy, but for now, ciao.
Harvey was a son of a high-ranking general and he was engaged to the daughter of the Governor, her name is Karen Favers. After the preparations, all they need to do is wait for a week until they get married on the altar of the church, so before the biggest day of their lives, both parents of the bride and the groom decided to throw a party, and it's quite a lavish one as the attendees were known personalities in the city and even the country.
Mr. Verdun: Look at them, they look perfect, aren't they, Governor Favers? ( father of Harvey )
Mr. Favers: Yeah, can you believe it, our children will be married next Sunday and we will be united as a family
Mrs. Favers: Calm down you guys, we don't wanna jinx this one
( and everybody laughs while enjoying the party )
Mrs. Verdun: But for now, let's enjoy the party
As everyone was busy enjoying the party, their fun was interrupted by a certain someone named Jacob Alstreim, he is an ex-convict who committed the crime of murder, he is a former bodyguard. He was there to congratulate his childhood friends on their engagement, Harvey and Karen.
Mr. Favers: The audacity to come here ( raise his hand and tried to slap Jacobs's face but his daughter, Karen stopped him )
Karen: Please, father, past is past, can't we all get over it?
Mrs. Favers: get away from that criminal Karen, that man is a murdering animal
Mrs. Verdun: how can you be even here, after you killed the very generous priest of our local church ( she does the sign of the cross)
Mr. Verdun: Get out of here you prick before I send you back to hell!
(and Harvey rushed towards Jacob, and all the guests including his and Karen's parents were anticipating him punching Jacob's face, but then Karen gave him a scared look so he punched Jacob's stomach instead and grab him by the collar and brought him out of their mansion ).
Harvey: are you ok ( he hugged Karen )
Karen: yes my love ( she was crying on Harvey's shoulder )
( and everybody cheered on the engaged couple )
Each day up until the wedding day holds up a very important meaning to Harvey and Karen, they both have six days to enjoy and do whatever they want before the big day so they agreed to have it their way. Monday, Harvey is busy playing gulf with Karen's father and his father's other business associates, Mr. Favers brag about his future son-in-law to his friends and they go play hard all day. The same day, Karen is inside her room, crying while the stereo is playing loud sounds of her favorite music albums, she is binge-eating her favorite snacks while looking at the pictures in her diary. Tuesday, Harvey received a promotion, and his teammates decided to treat him to a bachelor party in the next city. Tuesday, Karen is cleaning the bruises that she inflicted on herself as she was also unable to sleep due to her serious condition of insomnia. Wednesday, Harvey woke up and all his buddies is lying on the floor, totally drunk and wasted so he decided to call cabs and send them one by one, Harvey called his parents but as soon as he heard his father's voice on the other end of the line, he cut the call and look far away, he walks back and forth and when he got tired, he grabs his keys and drives out and decided to unwind back to his favorite bar. Also Wednesday, Karen received a letter and was very happy, she was so excited that she forgot to wear her underwear and just run off to the waiting cab outside of their house, she was very happy so she texted her future husband and after that, she looks forward on the things that she would do in the bar. Thursday, Harvey lock himself in a motel room, waiting for a call that he was waiting for 2 days while holding a picture of Madrid, and yet the call didn't come. On the same day, Karen is having the best day of her life with her friends, they throw a bachelorette party for her, except for her, her friends are having an orgy with a group of lesbians and she was just laughing around as one of her friends put something in her drink. Friday, Harvey is going paranoid that he is already talking to the wall and throwing things inside the motel room, he was constantly calling the number but it was not answering, so he just leave an invoice that says "I love you". Harvey: ( looking outside of the store, and looking to Lief and outside back and forth until he decided to talk to Lief ) Hey buddy, I already know your shit here, I just wanna confirm if you can do the do, of a request?
Lief: ( smiled at Harvey and said ) I'm not sure what are you referring to Mr. Harvey?
Harvey: ( grabs Lief's collar and before even deciding to punch him in the face, he stops and said ) You piece of shit, you know what I mean, I need it now really bad
Lief: ( shoves Harvey's hands away and walks back to the counter and said ) You're not in danger, you're not on the list, you're not a customer either, so Mr. Harvey, as again, how may I help you?
Harvey: This is bullshit! ( kicks the shoe rack and goes back to his patrol vehicle )
Roland was sweeping the floor, Yza is wiping the windows and Lief is doing their daily business report, Harvey came back but only in his civilian get-up.
Harvey: Please ( looking around, then looking out of the store, then coming back inside the store ) I just want to live my life man, please, I want to end this misery, can you just for now?
Lief: ( he gave a signal to his two apprentices) Yza please check the area, every nook, and cranny, I want to know if there are rogue dogs outside ( Lief means to check if there are other cops outside their area that might follow Harvey ) and Roland, please accompany our customer to the restroom ( Lief means to do a body check on Harvey which Roland proceeded to do and Harvey just comply )
( after the procedures, Harvey passed the exam and he told Lief )
Harvey: come on man, we're wasting time here, I passed right, I'm clean, come on let's go!
Lief: Yes, you are clean, but just to be sure, I want you to take a look at what's inside the freezer ( leads Harvey to the refrigerator in the complimentary area )
Harvey: ( walks toward the refrigerator and as soon as he opens the door, the thing that he saw makes him nauseous and he violently vomits on the floor ) You crazy fuck! that's my target! ( still looking at the dismembered body of his target )
Lief: Yes officer, we know, we're just checking if you are ready to place your request, knowing that you are, then I guess we're ready to take your request.
Harvey left the store and hopped on the special car of the Boutique with the basket that Lief gave him.
Harvey gives his orders to the people that we're knocking on the window of the car. Four in the morning and he saw firsthand that his orders are happening in front of him.
Jacob was running with some of his bags while looking at the silhouettes that we were following him, and a cab stops in front of him so he hops in and he told the driver to hit the floor. Five in the morning, Jacob loses one of his bags and decided to just leave it as he is now in a motel room, he gets inside and collects some cash, and decided to leave. Inside a dine-in, Jacob was on high alert and he saw the same people that were following him, the goons get inside the diner, so Jacob decided to hide and crawl onto the floor to escape, but to his surprise, all the people except the goons were copying him, and that startled him, he stood up and ran away, the other people run the same direction as he was and the goons followed them and pull out their pistols and started shooting to their direction. One by one, the people that were behind Jacob are falling and Jacob hides in the sex toy shop, and the goons passed by and failed to notice that he was inside the store, after a few minutes, Jacob runs in the opposite direction and a group of tourist grabs him and brought him with them. Jacob ended up at a bus stop and a delivery man told him to get inside the van if he wants to live, so he just comply as he was exhausted. Jacob woke up at a bus stop, a different one, he decided to fetch a cab, and getting one, he told the driver to go to a specific place, and while looking around, the driver looks in his mirror, he saw Jacob with the correct bag that he was supposed to bring, and after smiling, the driver hit the gas and they leave.
In the church, everyone's already looking at each other, both parents of Harvey and Karen are calling them on their phones but nobody is answering.
Harvey standing at a bus stop pulls out his phone
Harvey: This is our only way out my sweetheart, our only escape, ( wipes his tears while shivering ) I hope to see you there in Madrid very soon, can't wait to see you and finally live our lives according to how we want it to since we were young, you know that we are destined to each other but life doesn't fully support us, so just for a little while, things will get better, we can finally live as one ( happily looking around and he suddenly said )

Jacob: Me too, see you on the other side, soon ( cuts off the call and a woman sits with him )
Karen: our plane is here babe, my goodness, can't still believe that Harvey sacrificed himself for us, for our happiness! ( hugs Jacob without knowing that Jacob betrayed Harvey's love toward him to escape with her )
Jacob: ( hides his phone ) Yeah babe, finally, we are free, a new life in Madrid is not bad huh?
Karen: Yeah, it was originally our dream, the three of us, me, you, and Harvey, but now, I'm excited ( she kissed Jacob and they walk to the reception area in the airport )
Harvey is smiling while looking at the photo of him, Karen, and Jacob when they were young, that photo of them in Madrid, and he scratched off the part of Karen leaving him and Jacob only in the photo.
Harvey: ( he happily screamed ) Freedooo---!!!
( Gunshots filled the silence instead of his voice, Harvey falls to the ground, and his blood flows out on the floor )
A man walks behind Harvey, the man then check if Harvey is dead, and at the last body movement of dying Harvey, the man wearing a beanie and a hoodie started screaming,
in agony.
Back in the Boutique, Lief ordered Roland to throw all the current products that they have, from clothing to food, all of it was thrown in the bin, Lief order Roland to put the new stocks in the storage and put it on the shelves of the store, meanwhile, at the back of the Boutique, scavengers pour down and started picking up the things in the garbage bin.
Lief writes the daily report with a sad face, Yza tried to comfort him but Lief just told her that he is ok, and in an instant, before opening the Boutique, Lief smiled at his new apprentices and said
Lief: Just business, ok?
( Yza and Roland smile back at him and go back to their appointed task )
While busy accommodating the customers, a woman wearing the same uniform as the Boutique's clerks throws everybody into an uneasy situation, and Lief handled the situation accordingly.
