Chapter 27 - The Departure of the Royals

"So, is it true? Lady Hariah sneaked into his majesty's bath and they bath together?!"

"I already told you trice! I saw them with my own eyes! His majesty is carrying Lady Hariah from the hot spring and they're both soaking wet! His majesty didn't even have any upper clothes…"

Raziel shook his head as he grinned, looking at the maids who were blushing at their own rumor. Though it's hard to decided whether it's a rumor or not since what they're saying is the truth.

Noticing the prince, all the maids went flustered and bowed towards him.

"Greetings, your highness."

Raziel smirked and touched one of the maids' chin, lifting it up. She immediately blushed since their faces were too close to each other.

"Y-your highness…" she stuttered which made him only grin even more.

"Bring me to the king. I need to talk to him."

With the order, the maid nodded. "Y-yes, your highness."

"You want to return with me in my kingdom?"

Cavi hanged his brush into the hanger and looked at the prince before him. He was suspicious about his real intention.

"As much as I want to go home and enjoy in my harem, I really couldn't, your majesty. My old king just sent me a letter and he wants me to learn from a great king such as you. Either way, I think it's not bad. As far as I know, Frost Kingdom has many beauties. Especially those around you…"

Cavi's sharp eyes darted to the smirking prince. "Since your father asked you to learn from me, then just learn, Raziel. Don't create trouble anymore."

"As you order, your majesty."

"Also, are you sure you want to join my caravan?"

Raziel's eyes slit a bit. "What do you mean? Of course, I would love to join a king's caravan!"

"I think you're already aware of what happened to me days before the feast. Some people want me dead."

There was a chuckled echoed within the hall. "But many people want me dead, too, your majesty. I think, you should consider it first if you want me to join yours and not the other way around."

With a smile, Raziel left. When he was gone, Cavi was bothered afterwards. Raziel wasn't the type to agree to anything his father wants if he really don't want it. even if he's tortured to death.

Yet, this time, he comes to the Frost Kingdom with his father's order.

'He's eyeing into someone.' And Cavi had a guess about it. Now, he's uneasy.

Cavi's brow raised seeing a pouting lady that dared to raise the curtain of his carriage.

"Why are you still there? Didn't I tell you to join Nanny Elis' carriage?"

She heaved a deep sigh.

"Yes, you did. But Nanny Elis said that she's don't have any spaces left inside because you have many stuffs. So, she asked me to ride in yours instead."

After explaining, she then climbed up at his carriage and sat beside him to his surprise.

"Who told you I agreed?"

Hariah's face was dumbfounded as she stared at him. yet, he didn't even look at her. frowning, she went out; carrying a little box in hand.

At the carriage next to the king's a voice was suddenly heard speak. "Hariah. I have a lot of spaces in my carriage. Why don't you join me?"

As she lifted her head up, she saw a silver haired man with a grinning face. she felt an unsettling feeling inside her stomach that can't be explained at the way he looked at her.

Looking around, Hariah wondered how long is it to travel from here to Frost kingdom. And if she walks, can she even reach the kingdom without dying in tiredness first?

Turning to the carriage with the prince waiting for her, she stepped forward but then, she almost jumped in surprise when someone pulled her arm.

"I only told you I didn't agree. But I never said I won't agree. You didn't even try to convince me…"

Hariah stared at cave's back with parted lips. yet, her confused face soon turned into a happy one; realizing he was letting her in his carriage.

Witnessing that scene, all the guards now could confirm what was happening between the lady and their king. Raziel laughed at what he just saw and shook his head as he went inside his own carriage now.

A moment after, Trey announced.

"Depart!"

"Take care, King Cavi! Take care, High Highness Raziel!"

As the royal caravan of the Frost Kingdom departed, all people in the Guzheng Port sent them off. They threw flowers and some gifts though mostly, they weren't received. And though they weren't received, they still keep doing it in hope to receive the royal's blessing.

According to their customs, receiving it means giving blessings to the giver.

"Finally, I can now rest since all the royals were back to their palaces." Governor Almar sighed in relief and from his face's complexion, it so clear how weary and stressed he had been in the past days.

"You're right, master. But, isn't it so silent in the port now that they all left?" his servant asked that made him look around.

"You're right. it will be in the next 3 years later that our place will experience the same joy again. I just hope that this world will be as peaceful as it is right now so we can experience it."

"Of course, our world will be peaceful!"

Governor Almar shook his head. "You're still naïve, Little Lim."
