Chapter 32 - Found A Job

Luo Xingye had not appeared for three days.

As usual, the chef came to Luo Xingye's house to cook. Uncle Qian also treated us to a meal affectionately as usual, but Luo Xingye was always absent.

Uncle Qian said, "Every time it's Young Miss's death anniversary, Xingye will personally accompany her for a few days."

The lady he was referring to was Luo Xingye's mother, Luo Yan.

I don't know why, but my heart ached.

Half a month had passed, and Luo Xingye still had not appeared.

I was a little uneasy. Could it be that I was too decisive?

One day, I finally couldn't help but ask Uncle Qian.

Uncle Qian said that he was on a business trip to deal with an old debt of the group, which might take a long time.

Chuyi was very disappointed and kept pestering me to call Uncle Luo. However, the cold, mechanical voice on the phone was always the same: I'm sorry, the number you have dialed is not available.
