"What happened to your face?" he asked in a low voice.
She was not sure if it was because of the dark but she felt that his features were sharp and his eyes were shining with something darker in them. For a second she trembled.
"I was kidnapped and was beaten by the kidnapper until my father came to save me." she replied honestly after gaining her composure.
She was not ashamed of the incident. She was only three so it was only normal that she could not handle the strength of a strong man.
"Who was the kidnapper?" asked the young boy in a low growl. His voice was so low that it left a lingering effect on her skin that she felt goosebumps all over her body.
