He murmured quietly with an agitated gaze towards her.
She was seated helplessly at the bus stop. Soon, William realized she had no money with her at that time.
"Uggghhh, why is this bothering me so much? Am I her guardian angel or what? Why am I watching over her silently though? Why is she troubling me hard?" William was too conflicted between his thoughts while he grumbled angrily.
In the meantime, a food truck from a bakery was passing by them on the road. Sherry looked at the truck with her insatiate eyes and her stomach growled again. She was indeed starving!
William sighed annoyingly and raised her right arm towards the food truck. His eyes turned bright red again as he was using his magnetic super-power for her.
Immediately a big packet of bread was pulled over from the truck and it dropped instantly on Sherry's lap. She was startled to see the bread suddenly landing on her from that truck!
She jolted up from the seat while holding the packet on her arm and looked around deliberately by rolling her eyes. "I...I knew it! There is definitely something mysterious going on here.
Someone has been definitely watching over me! Who is this? Hey?" She spoke in a raised voice while looking all around. The situation was too mystical.
Sherry smirked at her reaction. "Again, instead of being thankful, she is doubting my intentions! She is so weird..." He thought with a cryptic smile on his face.
"Hey, who are you? Ar-Are you Felix? Is it you, brother? Are you helping me silently? I miss you... I miss..." She couldn't complete her words as she broke down in tears helplessly while holding the bread packet in her arms. She seemed too helpless and all alone.
William couldn't help anything further, except stand quietly and watch over her.
...
It took her just 10 minutes to finish that huge packet of bread. She was indeed withholding her deliberate hunger although. William unknowingly smiled at her as she gobbled up the food quite fast at the bus stop.
After satiating herself, a small grin appeared on her sad face. "I don't know, whoever helped me but thank you very much. The bread was delicious." She spoke with tenderness in her tone and a pleasant face.
"Pfft! She is so childish! Who will tell she is a complete adult! Gosh, I feel like I am looking after a small kid!" He chuckled mystically while murmuring in a mellow tone. Her thankfulness made him pleased.
....
Soon after she finished her food, Sherry stood up from her seat and walked in an opposite direction. Probably, she was going back home at a slow pace. William didn't follow her anymore as he stood still and watched her leaving slowly.
But after she strolled a few steps, she turned behind with a curious gaze in her eyes. "Hey, if you are still watching over me, don't worry. I won't try to commit suicide again.
You can go back and take care. Thank you for helping me, angel." She spoke politely while looking around with a poignant gaze in her eyes.
William stood all frigid while watching her drifting away from his sight.
"Angel? Was it a compliment or an insult? But I am an Alpha werewolf, much stronger, and more ruthless than an angel. Don't be mistaken, I just helped as I felt a bit of pity for your helplessness and your smell caught my attention. That's all.
I won't care about you anymore." He uttered in an obscure voice while turning back and walking away towards his home.
...
That's what he thought without even knowing, destiny has already begun its game!
It was around 10 pm. William was exhausted enough from all the chaos that happened along his way till heading back home. He entered the Romano Mansion majestically with a gallant pace while taking off his cryptic cap.
It was a magnificent mansion located at the centre of Rione Monti. The mansion appeared quite dark and desolated from the outside but was always guided by loyal guards.
The most important thing about the mansion was that all the people who lived there were members of William's pack. Everyone served their alpha with the utmost pleasure.
The housekeepers as well as the butlers bowed politely before him. All of them were werewolves as they strictly prohibited access to any human beings inside the mansion.
"Welcome back, Sir." They chanted rhythmically before bowing.
"Goodness, what a tiresome night!" He spoke in an obscure tone while walking straight to his room.
"Are you tired, brother?"
A lively yet vivacious voice called him from behind. William was quite familiar with the voice and he sighed agitatedly. With an annoyed gesture, he turned back.
A tall, handsome with dark brown shimmering hair properly styled with gel, and a well-groomed gentleman in a black suit ornamented with a golden classic wolf brooch were standing behind him. He had a cryptic smirk on his face while gasping at William.
"You...didn't answer me, brother?" He whined again while walking close to William with a cheeky smile.
William frowned his eyebrows while gazing at him. "Look, Roger. I am very tired today, I don't wanna deal with your nonsense. Bother me tomorrow." He answered frigidly while turning back to head back towards his room.
Immediately Roger jumped higher with his strong and muscular legs and aviated before William. He stood firmly before him to block his way towards his room.
"You know it very well that you can't escape from your little brother!" He winked spookily to pester him a furthermore.
"Roger, don't act like a kid! You are already 110 years old! I am tired today." William grumbled at him in an angry voice while glaring at him.
Roger seemed desperate for giving him a hard time. He walked close to William with a sly grin on his face. "Why are you tired? What did you..." Suddenly he stopped speaking and his face darkened a bit. With scrunched eyebrows, he gasped at William inquisitively.
