Despicable creatures, indeed, these dark beings are true scoundrels.
Canine skulls fierce in appearance, sharp canine teeth, legs with reversed joints, hook-like claws, combined with a half-human body. They somewhat resemble werewolves, or perhaps dog-headed men. Referring to them as despicable creatures is quite fitting.

The leader of the nearly hundred dark creatures, that hulking werewolf who was clearly much stronger than the others, had the bloodthirsty smile on its face freeze, and the savage upward curve at the corner of its mouth swiftly fell. The frantic bloodshot in its eyes receded and its gaze became much clearer.
"Heh, heh, heh..."
The werewolf leader gave an awkward laugh, intending to shuffle its feet and slowly retreat.
