The entire courtyard was silent, with only the howl of the wind.
The older hunters, held in place by an overwhelming aura, all turned their eyes towards the sudden intruder, Casio. Yan Yan stood there, his cloak in wild tussle beneath him, as he squinted at what laid ahead. At the entrance, Casio's face bore a faint smile, whilst in his hand, he held the head of a human.
"Is it you who had this fool deliver the message?"
Casio's voice, filled with a touch of chill, echoed. Suddenly, he extended his free right hand, like a hungry python, biting into a dark creature attempting to retreat in the shadows. With a slight exertion of force in his palm, he dragged this humanoid exotic species to the front. He struck it with a palm, forcing the creature's head into its chest with a "thump".
Suddenly, the dark creature, who had been struggling violently was silent, as stiff as a stake.
With a snap.
A pair of large hands placed the head onto the headless creature's neck.
