"Let's hurry, the entrance to the fourth level is not far ahead..."
The Scales Monster spoke in a familiar tone. It was about to get within a meter of Casio, its ugly appearance more distinct than ever.
A humanoid creature, its body adorned with blue scales of a fish or perhaps, a snake. Its eyes, no bigger than green peas, squeezed together and giving off a greedy gleam, oddly resembled nostrils more than eyes.
From the joints on its back, a series of tentacles grew out like tree roots, hanging low and drooping, giving off a feeling of sliminess, while a stench of decay hit the nostrils.
These two ugly creatures had grown right into Casio's field of vision, like a collection of all the elements he despised.
Rotten, stinky, greasy, slippery...
Tentacles, scales, fish, snakes...
"God, that's disgusting!" Casio couldn't hold back anymore, looking at the Scales Monster still squeezing itself beside him.
