On the silent highway, the sky lies between dusk and moonlight. A dark cloud is driven by the gale, pushing the remaining light away.
Casio scans his surroundings, as the unexpected creatures surrounding him and his car. An inexplicable sense of familiarity arises within him. He startles and looks to his shadow on the right. The darkness appears to wriggle as if stimulated.
"Shadow Demon..."
He instantly acknowledges the situation at hand.
In the dimming light, five beings dressed in human clothes stand by the roadside like eerie sculptures. They seem no different from normal humans, except their shadows under the moonlight wriggle like a mass of chaotic and viscous liquid. Their arms have mutated, with five bony fingers bulging outward, almost doubling in length, akin to knife blades.
