Halfway through, Casio took a break on a bench next to the artificial lake. He chatted with a few people who were playing golf. Afterwards, he went back to the resting area where Wind Elephant Gate residencies are located.
It was the first white building behind the manor, where Casio and other Core Disciples lived on the third floor. He took a cold shower in the bathroom, then pulled up a chair and sat on the arched balcony.
The afternoon sun was still strong at three o'clock, making the ceramic tiles on the balcony surface shimmer with white light. Casio laid on the chair, his gaze extending beyond the pure white enclosure wall in the distance. To the left was a large expanse of green grassland, and further away, vast yellow fields.
To the right was a vast lush green woods.
The warm sunlight hit his body. Casio glanced at the clear blue sky, and his mood inexplicably improved a lot.
The once restless heart also stabilized.
