Darkness is suddenly illuminated by flaming light, spiraling around the walls as if vines were climbing. Pale fire float in the air, gradually illuminating the interior of the tower.
This is a vast space of several hundred square meters, devoid of any fancy decorations, just hard and thick greyish white walls. The environment is completely barren, a pentagonal altar located in the center, about the size of a room.
At each point of the pentagram, there is a metal pillar, half a man's height. Under the glow of the flames, they flickered with subdued light.
Standing next to the altar is a human-shaped statue. Its surface is full of cracks and its features blurred. It was this that had made a sound in the darkness, seemingly welcoming Casio.
