Five or six members of the Blood Spirit Association strode forward like meteors, grumbling loudly as they hurried towards the entrance.
Their recently awakened dull nerves failed to perceive the abnormality in their surroundings until it was too late. From the shadows along both sides of the street, emanated a series of slender dark shadows, ten in total, their blackened claws shimmering with a metallic sheen.
The Shadow Demons charged at them at an astonishing speed, their claws whipping through the air, creating a mesh of claw shadows that enveloped an enormous area.
The members of the Blood Spirit Association were severely wounded upon contact, claws tearing deep into flesh and scraping away large chunks of it. Some unlucky ones had their entire arms severed and torn into shreds in an instant.
"Counterattack!"
