While diligence and persistence relate to one's inherent character, the more essential aspect is the positive feedback one gets during the process. You exercise, you become stronger. You study, you become knowledgeable. These are all forms of positive reinforcement.
But the Azure Wind Aura does not provide such feedback, and the only person who has mastered it is Lixia. It's not like the Wind Elephant Fist, where one can gauge their own progress by observing fellow disciples of the same level. Without feedback, there is only loneliness and boredom. It's tough.
Maybe a year, three years, or ten years?
Can Casio persist for that long? Probably not.
