Behind the keratin pouch, numerous blood vessels connected to a larger figure. The Demon Idol that was about to form ultimately perished, and its originally incredibly strong body dried up. The muscles and blood within the body were sucked dry.
Where once there had been bulging muscles, there was now skin clinging to bone. The black spines had lost their shine as well.
Originally, as per the process of Li Wei's Dark Biological Transformation, the Demon Idol that was nurtured would gradually absorb Li Wei's body. But now it was the other way around. Li Wei's body, modified by Casio, sucked nutrients from the Demon Idol like a vortex.
One could see that blood was being transferred between them through the connecting vessels. Still, air was penetrating in. This meant that the Demon Idol's blood was almost completely being absorbed by Casio.
