Both wizards entered the Totem Burst State simultaneously, much like when Li Wei activated the muscles in his back using the Phoenix Totem.
"It's a shame Li Wei hasn't cultivated Hard Qigong... else I wouldn't need to use the Phoenix Totem again." Casio's eyes narrowed in anticipation. For caution's sake, he had to resort to the forbidden technique once more.
As for the side effects, he could worry about those once he'd dealt with these two wizards.

"Boiling Phoenix Blood!" Casio's back suddenly swelled.
From the seams of his distinctly outlined muscles, strands of red lines spread intertwined and eventually formed a glowing Phoenix pattern. In an instant, all the muscles in his back turned red-hot.
White steam began to dissipate from the surface of his skin.
The already robust muscles rapidly tensed up, as if invigorated, becoming even more powerful. Tiny muscle fibers danced and swirled within the crevices of his prominent veins.
