And that was why Hao issued that challenge out of the blue. He wanted to pull a remarkable feat, one that many would stand against and wonder how the hell did they manage to do that.
"So… We are going to fight, but not necessarily need to win, right? Just like what happened back at the fight with players after the dungeon, right boss?" John asked what everyone got, but he and everyone were mistaken here.
"That's not true," Hao slowly shook his head, "back at that fight, anyone seeing the odds, watching the herds of players swarming us from every angle, they'd think it's impossible for anyone to survive this. That's why it wasn't about winning or losing, it's about how we did and how many we killed."
He took a deep breath, knowing that what he'd say next might seem too much to ask from his team, "but in this challenge, we have to win. We have to win not only a few, not only most, but all of the matches we are going to play."
