The change in tactic and the volunteer work of Hil and the other staff holders brought fruit in the next half minute. The frontline didn't suffer much with the boss getting mostly controlled with the Taunt skills.
As for the two light daughters remaining, they ended up surviving for the entire half minute thanks to their timely use of their Heal skills, and the help from the staff holders.
But it was doomed for one of them to fall when the time for the next big attack came.
"F*ck you rat!" and unlike what Hao prayed for, the golden attack landed over Cher. "I won't die in the claws of such a sneaky rat!"
Just as Hao was preparing himself for losing Cher, the latter did the unexpected. She timed her jump, to start just one second after that attack landed.
