Chapter 34 - Making Things Worse

"Really?" Rayan came from the door while showing a fake expression of confidence, "I knew it can't be here. We are all gathered and it can't stand a chance against all of us."

"It's a real rat dude, not that game rat," Mark joked with him, while mimicking how rats do with their limbs.

"You…" Just seeing Mark do that made Rayan pause and a look of fear resurfaced again for a second. But as everyone laughed, the tension eased and Hil finally got the courage to step in.

"I hate rats," she said while going to stand by Hao's side. In all of this, Hao was the one who stood up to that rumoured rat, and that made him the most trustable person here to protect her if anything went wrong.

When Cher looked at this, she wanted to warn her from that dirty rat. But as everyone else was still here, she decided to give her such a warning later on.

"Ahem, can you all return to play? I want to discuss something important with our little Hao here," as the tension was gone, everyone started to chat and forgot about time.

But Cher was still feeling so damn mad about Hao. just while saying this, her eyes met with him and glared in a threatening way.

"Oh, I forgot about something important as well," as she said it, and before anyone could react, Hao said as if he realised something he missed.

"Right now?" Hil looked at him in a weird way, the same way everyone did.

Just as everyone was focused on him, Cher used this chance to point towards his precious keyboard and stick, mimic the motion of holding a real hammer and smash his beloved things to pieces.

'You are a dead man!' and as everyone waited for Hao to say something, Cher moved her lips to speak these words without making a sound.

Just imagining his precious keyboard getting smashed into pieces made Hao's heart clench. He still didn't see any wrong in what happened. He was sleepy, half actually, and found the bathroom at the wrong time.

But he knew telling this to Cher wouldn't help.

"Ah, I was speaking about the tips I promised you earlier," he finally succumbed to his fate. At least with everyone's presence nearby, Cher wouldn't dare to really hurt him that badly.

As he said that, Cher's eyes relaxed for a second before she made a gesture with her hands, promising how bad she would deal with him.

"We are already waiting for these god-like tips from you," Rayan laughed as he was one of the few here who didn't get that something was indeed wrong.

"Stop it, rat boy," as John got that something was off between Hao and Cher, he decided to get that big dude out of here.

"D… Don't dare and stick that dirty name with me," Rayan seemed to want to shout at John, but he ended up with a weak tone worthy of a plea.

That made everyone shake their heads in disappointment. They all left the room while feeling how it was ironic for such a big dude to get scared from rats.

Hil was a girl after all, so it wasn't that weird for her to feel so afraid. But for such a big dude like Rayan, it was the new trend in the A team from now on.

But Hao wasn't in the mood to join that fun. He counted everyone walking out as if this was another hope lost from him, another skill that went to cooldown at the moment of life and death.

"You are going to… Die by my hands here!"

Cher was wearing a wide gown that extended from her shoulders in a loose way till her ankles. But it was also sticking to some parts of her body when she moved. And at this moment, she ran at him like a tigress.

"I'm innocent, just listen to my side of the story," he couldn't shout loud as he didn't want others to see this embarrassing moment.

As he evaded her attack in nimble steps, he went directly to the door and closed it.

*Bang!*

"Come here you dirty boy!" she mistook his move as to run away through the door not closing it. So she pushed her body fast to catch up with him, fiercely hitting his back before grabbing his arm and pulling him around.

But at this moment she realised the mistake she just made. He didn't intend to run away but to close the door to seal any source of embarrassment for the two of them.

Yet in her moment of realisation, her move got sluggish and stopped midway. Hao felt a great force coming from her, letting him experience her athletic body first handed here.

He let his body follow her move and intended to evade anything she'd throw at his face while sealing this misunderstanding with words.

But as she stopped her pull all of sudden, his body rotated freely while losing balance, ending up for him falling over hers, bringing her down under him.

"You…"

The two were this close from each other as he felt each soft lump in her body with his. It felt like he fell over the gentlest and the sweetest cushion ever.

The two breathed at each other's faces. Hers was burning all red, turning like a hot piece of ember at this moment.

"S… Sorry," he knew he just made things worse.

"I… Won't let you leave without a beating," yet before he could stand up, she moved both legs and surrounded his lower half, firmly placing him in place before she tried to rotate.

She wanted to sit over him, but she underestimated his athletic body.

For a gamer, his hips and back must be strong to endure the long hours of sitting over the screen. So when she tried to flip him over, he resisted out of reflex and that ended up for her to scatter her hair all over her face, and let her gown much looser.

The two strips holding it over her shoulder fell over her arms, exposing little of her white lumps and more of her soft skin.

Just seeing this, hearing her struggling moan and muffled shout of frustration after failure, made his heart palpitate further. Seeing the white smooth skin like the purest jade in front of him made him recall the piece of art he just peeked at when he entered that bathroom by mistake.

'Don't go overboard, or she will kill you,' he reminded himself, but the more he repeated this phrase the more heat he felt deep down his waist.

"Move a finger and I'll cut it for you," seemingly reading what wrecked in his mind at this moment, she fiercely glared up at him, saying in a tone that carried a ton of anger.
