Salar shrugs. "Is that what you've done? It doesn't seem possible to stand out in a city this size."
"I try," you say.
Salar frowns as if you aren't entirely convincing.
"What have you been doing?" you ask. "Besides exploring the city and discovering that it's even bigger than you expected?"
"I asked Matty for a job as an actor, but she says they're not hiring right now, and besides I don't have enough experience. I'm not sure how to get experience if no one will hire me!" Salar looks frustrated and then a little sheepish. "I mean, that doesn't actually matter. I'm here to decide what to do about the Raven, not to become an actor. But I'm going to need work if I'm going to stay here for long."
