"Thank you, gentles all," Nichol says finally as the rehearsal winds to a close. "Do it again like that tomorrow, and our careers may yet survive." Nichol glances at you as the rehearsal begins to break up. "Not yet tired of the theater, now that you've seen how it's made?"
"I've always been interested in the creative process," you say.
"Tell me that once you've survived your first opening night," Nichol says. That's tomorrow's adventure.
