Chapter 59 - 59

It is some hours later when you and the riders of your party emerge from the small river valley down which you have traveled and come into view of your tribe's settlement. The lights of campfires and braziers are visible on the slight rise where the collection of yurts lie unseen in the darkness, and the soft sounds of the camp are carried to you through the night. When your tribe moves across the steppe, the place they pitch their yurts is always called Tar-Domos. It simply means "home."

As you near the wooden palisade that forms the perimeter of the encampment, the sentry raises his spear guardedly and shouts a challenge.
