Darren arrived home.
As he step inside the house.
He goes to the kitchen, pour a glass of water and took out the medicines.
He took medicines and sat on the couch.
"Ahhh...my head" ,he said.
He moved his head.
"I should get some more sleep. May be after that my head will get better."
He lies down on the couch and closed his eyes.
As he closed his eyes that girl again appeared.
He saw himself standing at the traffic signal.
The girl was wearing a white silk dress, a brown handbag and her hairs were half tied up. She had the same refreshing smile on her face that she had before.
Darren eyes stayed still when he saw her face.
she rushed and Crossed the signal.
He tried to catch-up with her but as he move forward cars starts to move and he did not able to meet her.
Suddenly his mobile phone rings.
He woke up restlessly.
He was breathing heavily and sweeting.
He rubbed his eyes and pick up his phone.
It was Lorie.
(Lorie is Darren's working colleague and also she liked him from the first day she met him.)
"Hello Lorie, what happened?" , Said Darren
"You didn't come to office and you were also not picking up my calls",said Loire.
"What happened??"
"I will not come to office anymore.", Darren answered.
Lorie's voice cracked:
"what do you mean by that?"
"Umm.. I resigned.", Darren said.
Lorrie: " It's not a time for any lame jokes Darren!"
"I quit.", Darren said in an awkward voice.
Lorie: seriously!
Darren: "Leave this topic and get to the main point."
"Why were you looking for me."
It's so upsetting Darren! What's the reason to quit?"
"Tell me", Lorie asked.
"Let's talk about it another time not now please, my head is spinning right now.", Darren said.
"But I want my answer now and what about the project. It is the huge project." ,Lorie said.
"Don't worry I will complete it for you." ,Darren said.
Lorie: "That's great, but tell me what happened?"
(Darren explain all the things that had happened before.)
"But quitting is not a solution you know that."Lorie said in a tense voice.
Darren: "Well! You know about me right! How I'm. "
Lorie: "tch..ughh!!"
Darren: "okay!"
"Listen miss.I'm not helping you for free.", said Darren.
Lorie: "Then, what you want?"
"I will tell you when work will be done peacefully and completely."
"Just don't tell anyone that I've done it for you ok?" Darren said.
Lorie: "Ahan ..ok! Then I will talk to you tomorrow, I have to do work right now. See ya!"
Darren : "Yeah! Bye."
Then he walk out of the house and went to buy some groceries.
He bought the groceries and when he was walking out of the supermarket.
He saw a girl who was wearing the same dress as he saw in his dream was standing.
He quickly run towards her.
when he put his hand in the girl's shoulder.
She startled and turn around.
But It was not her.
"Oh! sorry miss! I mistook you from someone else.", said Darren.
Girl: "What a strange man."
She rolled her eyes and goes away.
When he took a step forward.
He started to felt dizzy and fell on the ground.
Alot of rush gathered on the road.
Suddenly A girl approaches him and saw him on the ground and tried to help him.
He was in unconsciousness that's when he saw her blurred face.
He believed she is the same girl who was in her dreams.
Before he gets the chance to say something, he faint
When he opened his eyes Lorie was sitting beside him.
"You? Where is she?" Darren hypered.
"Who? I was there the whole time." Said Lorie.
"How do you know I fainted?" Darren asked.
Lorie said:
"I got a call from your phone it was some girl".
"Wait! Wait! Are you talking about her??"
Darren: then?
Where she went?
Lorie : "I don't know Darren she just told me everything in phone call and I rushed here to see you."
"Ughh! Man!",: Said Darren angerly.
"What's so exciting about her?" ,Asked Lorie.
"Nothing just wanted to thank her.",Darren answered.
Lorie: "Why? How Did you collapsed tell me this?"
Darren: "Umm..May be because of weakness."
Lorie: "Are you alright?" ( She shocked).
"I will talk to doctor."
( She stood up but Darren hold her hand and stopped her.)
"It's alright I'm fine.I also had a fever before may be it's because of it.", Darren said.
Lorie: "why didn't you tell me before?"
"haha... it's ok!, Darren said in awkwardness.
"You don't have to complete the project I will complete it by myself, don't worry about that.",said Lorie.
Darren: No! No! Just give me a week I will complete it.
Lorie : But!
Darren: No buts...
Doctor came.
Lorie: "Hello! Doctor."
"Why he fainted suddenly?", Asked Lorie
"You don't have to be worried about him, he just had the weakness due to fever and he didn't take medication properly.", Doctor said.
Darren: "I had took fever repellants."
Doctor: "That was not enough,you should have to come and get a treatment properly."
"I will remember it from next time." Darren said.
"Yeah! You should be." Doctor said.
Then doctor leaves.
"Hahaha",he laughs awkwardly.
"So! What's the situation in office by the way?." Darren asked.
"Nothing much! same a before." Lorie answered.
"Hmm..you can go...if you are busy."
"I'm alright I will go home as soon as i get discharged.", Darren said.
"Sure? You will?" Lorie said in a tense voice.
"Who knows if you felt dizzy again?",she said.
"I will be fine. So don't worry and go." ,He said.
"Nope.. first call any of your friend and ask him to come here ", Loire said.
"Ok! Ok!"
"I will call Aaron to come and pick me up.", he said.
Lorie: "Ok! Good bye and get well soon."
Darren nods his head and say : "Goodbye"
When Lorie goes,he stood up and walks into the whole hospital searching for that girl but she had already left.
He asked at the counter but they also didn't answer him properly.
When he came back into the room, Aaron was sitting in the couch."
Darren look at him
"Hi",said Aaron.
"Let's go home, I'm already tired of everything." Darren said.
Aaron raised his eyebrows.
"Tired of what?",he said
"You will not get it, just leave this place." Darren said.
Aaron: "ok!...but did you told doctor about your head?"
Darren: "They said I'm fine and I fainted due to weakness, that's it."
"Let's go now"
"Okay..then pack your things, I'm waiting outside." ,Aaron said and winked.
Darren packed up the things and Aaron drops him at his house.
Aaron:
"Call me anytime if you don't feel good,ok!"
Then he went his home.
Darren went inside.
While unpacking this stuffs he saw a note in a grocery bag.
He looked questionably at the note and said:
"What's this?"
(he raised his eyebrows)
He took it out it and starts to read that note.
It says:
"Hello,sir! I was the one who took you to the hospital and your groceries were all messed up, so i thought I could buy you a new one so here it is.Hope you will get better soon.Thank you!"
After this note he got more and more curious about her.His desire to meet her was increasing day by day. Now He had fully believed that it's not a dream and absolutely a reality.
