Corizo and Gloria
The city of Adrianne wasn't like other cities that Gloria has seen so far, this place looks like the on going war didn't touch them at all.
Everything was in order, they had no bother which was really strange, every city in this mystical realm has bother to prevent intruders but Adrianne city doesn't have any.
The Gloria and Corizo followed Augustine into the town, the place was peaceful, with it's people going through their various activities, Gloria looked around, she could see market people selling their goods, buyer were buying, children were assisting or running up and down playing, it was a beautiful sight for Gloria who hasn't seen such natural sight in a long time.
Augustine on his own was lost in his thoughts, what he was thinking about no one knows, Corizo noticed it and decided to move closer to him.
" You know that this world needs her " Corizo said, his hand was behind his back, his face was devoid of any emotions as he was looking ahead.
Augustine ignored him, he turned to look at Gloria who was looking around the market place.
" has she unlock her powers?" he asked Corizo.
" NO " Corizo answered, Augustine nod his head in understanding.
Suddenly he took them through another route, Corizo narrowed his eyes at him, he was sure that the way to the Castle was straight ahead, so why are they reversing, he would have asked but then he chose to ignore it after all , a single male Witch has nothing against him.
The trio arrived in what seems to be a small hut, Gloria was dumbfounded.
is this their Castle?
she just doesn't understand anything that's going on, but she just hope nothing hurts her.
" is this where the King or Queen leaves ?" came her cracked voice due to the pain she was feeling earlier.
" No " Augustine gave her a short replied, he began to walk into the hut, Gloria looked at Corizo excepting the guy to give her a clue on what to do but the guy ignored her , he followed Augustine into the hut, being left with no choice she followed them Into the hut,
The place was in a mess, everything was dehalved, which confused Gloria even more, outside was perfect but inside this small hut, everything seem to be a contradiction to the outside world.
" have a sit " Augustine said, a small chair appear behind them, Gloria and Corizo sat down while Augustine went to make tea for them.
" I don't understand anything " Gloria said , scratching her body nonstop.
" you will understand everything soon " Corizo answered her.
Just then Augustine came back with two cups of green tea, he handed one to Corizo and then the other to Gloria, she lowered her eyes at Augustine in suspicious but when she glanced at Corizo the guy was already drinking his hot tea, not willing to take any chances, Gloria gave Corizo her cup of tea and collected Corizo's, she just doesn't trust anyone.
Augustine noticed what she did but he chose to ignore it while Corizo pretended like nothing happened, if she wanted his tea then she's free to have it. Augustine took his own cup of tea and sat down facing Gloria and Corizo.
" I know you both have lot of questions but I want to cut it short for you two " Augustine said, Corizo casually slip his tea.
" everything you're seeing outside is an illusion placed by the Queen to confuse the people, the reason why outside is very perfect while here is in a mess, is because her illusion doesn't affect this place " he slipped his tea.
" and why is that ?" Gloria asked.
" the Queen of the Englewood casted a spell on his hut as this was the hut of her last grandmother, thus she made it so that nothing of the outside world will affect here" .
" why are you helping us, I heard that the Adrianne witches don't care about mystical riders?" Gloria asked again.
" that's true, we don't care about other creatures because we leave in a world of illusion, we feel like the war has nothing to do with us, that what the Queen made us to believe, but I have been outside, I have seen and witness the war and trust me it's not something little ..... and as for the reason why am helping you.... because I believe that the mystical riders can save us all "
There was silence for few minutes until Corizo decided to break it.
" speaking about the Queen of Englewood....do you have any idea where she is ?" Corizo asked, his long legs were currently crossed with one on top the other, as he slip his tea.
" I do not but if you need more information about her then you should ask David Michaelson the Alpha supreme of De'sliver "
Corizo upon hearing that name sat upright, Gloria too sat upright, she hasn't seen Corizo respond much to things and for him to actually show a reaction of interest simply means whoever this person is must be important.
" De'sliver pack?" Corizo asked.
" Yes, David Michaelson is the Alpha supreme, they're divided into five Sliver packs, Silverlight being the capital, Slivertown, Sliverling. Sliver Crescent moon, and Sliver Lake , you can get there if you follow Haverford "
" it's Haverford at the western side of Adrianne ?" Corizo asked just to be sure.
" yes, it is " Augustine replied.
he lean back on his chair, as he drank his tea , when he emptied the cup he placed it on the ground, just then he noticed that Corizo and Gloria where done with theirs as well.
" hope you're aware that to get to Mystical island, you must go through mystic Falls which is at far North ?" Augustine asked staring at Corizo, it's no doubt that the protectors traveling with the riders are rough protectors who will be killed should they be seen by any other protector, but looking at Corizo Augustine was sure that there's something off about the guy.
" I don't care " Corizo replied,
Gloria was shocked at the revelation that Augustine just told her, they will have to travel far North, on foot ?
this is madness!
it will take them years to actually reach their destination.
" I guess we have to leave, it's a long journey ahead " Corizo said standing up after dropping his cup on the ground, Gloria mentally did the same.
" I will come with you two " Augustine said standing up.
" why ?" Gloria asked.
" because I want to be a part of this great adventure, it's not every time outsiders get to see a rider unleash their creature "
Corizo stare at Augustine from head to toe, well the guy can tag along, as long as he doesn't interfere with his own mission.
Together the trio head out going towards the western side of Adrianne, they were completely ignorant of the stares which they were getting.
Corizo knew that something was fishy, with the amount of stares they have been getting since they arrived here , he was sure that words must have gotten to the Queen,thus why isn't she sending their royal Guards to find them.
But come what may, he will make sure that the riders fullfil their destiny and if anyone stands on his way, he won't think twice in taking them out of his way.
