Daphne hesitantly put one hand to her head and another to Korbin's, but she already knew the answer to her own question. The gesture was really all for formality and incredulity's sake. She had never thought that she would feel heat on Korbin, much less extreme heat such as this.
So for a few moments, she stood still, her mind still trying to wrap around what had just happened.
But she didn't have that much time to let her mind do its own thing. She had to do something to bring down Korbin's temperatures.
Half-pacing around the room, she wondered what to what. Admittedly, Daphne was not used to doing such things.
She had never had to take care of a patient before. She had been the princess, for goodness sake, and even when she entered the Northern Palace, she had Korbin by her sick bed.
