It didn't take long for Daphne to be fully surrounded. Their eyes glinted like a pack of wolves surrounding a piece of prey. Daphne didn't know how long they had gone without news or gossip.
At first, some at the perimeters pretended to be somewhat disturbed or disgusted, but as the questions got more and more intense, even those women couldn't help but lean in and slightly crane their necks to listen.
"You and His Majesty even…did it in the dungeons?" Another woman piped up, dropping her voice a tad lower but not low enough for the whole crowd to hear.
"What?" Daphne couldn't even begin hiding her horror. "We were just in the dungeons…"
"Oh yeah, didn't a soldier stumble across the two of you…"
"Clothe-less and entwined with one another?" Another woman filled in. "Who knew a Princess from the Kingdom of Eversun would have the guts to do that?"
