Daphne's studies of the Northern Kingdom palace proved to be somewhat useful. She surprised Korbin as she led the way, briskly walking down the corridors without hesitation.
No one expected the two of them to walk in hand by hand. As they made their way through the doors of the banquet hall, the crowds turned silent.
Immediately, Daphne felt a thousand different looks cast upon her face.
Some of them were of mild interest, others of absolute disdain, and even more of skepticism and confusion.
A few women exchanged looks,
"Your Humble Servants greet Your Majesty." They called in unison, with the Grand Minister leading the pack. In front of the other noblemen, he was obviously different from their personal interaction.
Although his bow was not a perfect angle, he at least made it seem like he made an attempt to bow. Like last time, he was dressed in the most extravagant of golds and gems.
