SEBASTIAN'S POV
Have never seen my mom as happy as when I told her about my scholarship. She was so excited for me and I saw the light in her eyes. She believed that we still had hopes for a better future and now I am about to ruin that hope for her.
"My mom will understand that it is for the best" I say in a low tone.
"Don't make this mistake sebastian, you will regret it" she says in a commanding tone. I don't want to regret anything but I know I will regret it if I go along with it.
"Will only live once, so it is fine if we make mistakes in the long run" I say with a faint smile.
"Ariana did so much for you, she neglected her parents and went behind their backs just for you. She believed in and in your talent and what you could achieve" she says in disappointment "you both worked hard and fought for this scholarship don't ruin that" she says in a sad tone.
