After dinner with my mom that night, I went upstairs to my room, only to meet a text from Zachary. His text message shouldn't really be a surprise since he was technically my boyfriend, but because of the rift between us for the past three days, I wasn't expecting it.
In the text he asked how I was, if I had eaten dinner and then went further to ask about my mom. When I told him that she was acting weirdly to a question I asked her, his response wasn't what I had been expecting at all. I decided to let it go anyway.
We said our goodbyes and ended the conversation.
When I got back from school today, my mom came to me and asked me about my day. She acted like nothing had happened earlier and I decided to play her little game with her, acting as if everything was okay.
I really should stop thinking and go to sleep. I hoped my mom would answer my question whenever she felt the most comfortable to.
