Walking away from the house, with no clue as to whether she knows anything or not.
He leaves, very nervous.
On getting to his airy room, he sits on the bed, wondering what to do next.
He checks his bank balance and manages a small smile. "Even if she knows something, there's no specific proof and before then, I can certainly escape to another country where no one knows me."
He picks up his phone and dials the number that always calls him. "Hello?"
"So what did you find out?"
"I'm quitting." He says, and paces around, occasionally peering outside the only window in his room to see what's going on outside.
"What? Why?" The voice on the other side climbs up an angry octave.
"It's my personal decision. Also, I had a chat with Akeelah. She sounds like she knows something"
The person gives a dry laugh. "Am I paying you to be scared? I pay you multiple of five what you get paid originally even after you killed someone."
