The sound was so loud that Perry had to hold on to a wall. Her Unholy Barrier was still active around her master, but she doubted it would do much. After being thrown back inside the tunnel, she couldn't see Jake.
On the other side, Erin didn't obey Jake and stayed at the tunnel entrance. Even as the flames burned her, she didn't leave her master. Erin was confident in her regenerative abilities as a vampire.
As the light of the explosion died down, the scene appeared wrecked in everyone's eyes. The stalactites from above fell and a dust cloud erupted, rousing the remaining arcs of lightning which buzzed around.
Ting! Jake hit the floor with the handle of his scythe and breathed deeply.
