As the night slowly falls over the kingdom of Deamwittz, the wind starts to blow harder.
"Brrrrrr...is getting colder.." Victor said as he starts shivering.
"Well can't help..it is already autumn and Christmas is around the corner." Josh replied "Ugh..I want to get snuggle inside my bed as soon as possible."
"Same..." Victor's eyes then fall upon the sight of the glamorous castle Florence at a distance, which is radiating out with lights and sparkles tonight.
"Ahh...I am jealous of those royal families, they don't have to know what it is like to live naked in this cold weather."
"True... I heard they are throwing some kind of party or something today."
"Party?" Suddenly Victor quickly recalled a very important occasion for his friend, who is busy packaging up and leaving today.
"Hey... isn't supposed to be Yumeko-chan, birthday?"
Josh quickly comes to his sense as he realized that. "wait hold on.. damn you are right. Today is princess Yumeko's birthday...this evening I saw many royal carriages towards the castle."
"And this asshole is leaving today.." Josh shows a repulsive expression as he scuffed that.
"Oi, how are you planning to deal with all these shits-"
Just then, a royal carriage reined by two beautiful black Stallions stops in front of Victor and Josh.
Charice jumps down from the driver's seat and tends to open the door, but then the door suddenly swings open and furious Yumeko emerges from the carriage.
Eating the anger and the sadness silently inside her and without interacting with anyone Yumeko heads towards the house.
"Yumeko-" Josh lost the words to say after seeing the dejected face of Yumeko and the glamorous gown. He was startled in confused as both the factors doesn't add up.
"her face...what happened to her, she looks bumped out" Victor mutters. "wait...that hairpin isn't that the one we picked-"
"Psh" Josh quickly silenced him before Yumeko could hear it.
The door then slammed in front of them as Yumeko walks in.
Yumeko intrudes inside Jake's room without taking anyone's permission. His room was dark and empty. There were only paper and pages scattered all around the floor.
Amidst the debris, she sees some of her letters which she sent to Jake were lying there.
Narrator: The lid wasn't even opened up, It is clear to say Jake didn't bother to check any of these letters.
This was the last breaking point needed to completely shatter Yumeko's heart. After her birthday was ruined and humiliated in front of everyone by her father, the only thing that needed to completely shatter Yumeko's heart was a betrayal from her boyfriend and this was the moment she knew...
"Yumeko, why are you here?" a voice comes out from the opposite side where Yumeko is standing.
From the bathroom, Jakes comes out wearing a simple emerald color shirt and fancy jeans to match today's occasion.
He slowly paced towards his bed while tumbling across Yumeko's letters without care and start putting the scattered clothes in his red duffel bag.
Even wrenching her heart in pain, Yumeko tries her best to let the most reasonable words be out of her words "I came here because you didn't come-"
"Oh great timing, since you came here I don't need to tell Josh to deliver the message"
Narrator: In his small desk, there lies a small piece of paper kneeled under an inkpot. The words that were written there are so jumbled up that can make an average person have a stroke while reading it.
Either the person who wrote this hasn't practiced writing the "Cursive book" in elementary school or he is in a real hurry to catch the last train to Hogwarts.
Yumeko slowly approaches to read it, the small note which is written there.
Narrator: It says: Hi Yumeko,
Let's break up. By the way, I'm leaving the town today and going back to my parents who are living in the Kingdom of Cilly. So I don't think we won't be seeing each other ever again. Bye.
That's it that was the letter. The letter failed a million times in comparison to the letters that Yumeko sent in the past, which are now lying on the floor crushed and stamped by the receiver's feet just now.
Yumeko then recalls the time, when she spent hours and hours choosing the right words and even the color of paper to portray her mood and feelings at that moment so that Jake could understand.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Ahhh...no, no, no..that is not what I wanted to be sound" Yumeko picks up her letter and crumbles up. She then quickly picks up a blue letter from her drawer and starts jotting again from scratch.
"Hi, Jake,
I hope you are doing well and fine. Tomorrow is my birthday, and I am so excited that my happiness has no bounds right now. Because the time has finally come, the day you said you will barge into the castle like a Romeo and snatch my hand out from my father.
Hahaha, I have been reading that letter for the 50th time now and I find it funny.
I was so happy when you sent me that letter along with this red hairpin because that was the second letter i received back ever since you proposed to me at the royal banquet last 2 months ago. Your handwriting has so much improved from the beginning and the words were so cute too. Almost felt like it was written by someone else, haha.
I really can't wait for you to come and pick me up, because I have been down for so long. As you said, my dad will not agree with this, but if we stand together and faced him, we can defietenly convince him. I will be waiting for you, Jake. I am really glad that my first love happens to be you. You have no idea how much I love you. Ok, I got to go now, Jessy is calling. Good night and sweet dreams. I will be waiting for you.
Yours's truly
Yumeko.
