THIRD PERSON's POV
After Y/N finally got out of Ace's body, Ace suddenly woke up. He gasped as he looked up and his eyes widened when he noticed what was currently happening.
"Red-haired Shanks..." Ace mentioned the name of the person in front of him.
Where Shanks sword came out and shielded Akainu's magma-covered fist. In the distance stood Kizaru and Kuzan who glared down on Shanks.
"Shanks!" Luffy shouted loudly when he saw the person who protected Ace.
"What..." Ace looked around and it stopped in the huge crater not far from him.
"Where the hell is she fire fist Ace?!"
Ace looked at that voice and he saw Akainu.
"What do you mean she?" Ace asked confused.
"Shut up, Akainu." Shanks seriously said.
Akainu snapped towards Shanks. "That girl in his body is dangerous and a threat-"
"Threat to the world government because none of you including the five elders knew her existence right?" Shanks cutted him.
Akainu's jaw tightened and there was no denying what Shanks said was right.
Ace, on the other hand, did not understand what was happening. He turned in his captain's direction and questioning looks. He got no answer so he turned his gaze to his fellow commander Marco.
It signaled that he would explain later so Ace is couldn't help but be disappointed.
"Y/N is awesome and strong Ace! Where did you find her? Do you know where she is and her true body? Or are you one the she's referring... that pirate-oh but she said that pirate is not devil fruit user! Ugh! I want to know! Ace let me talk to Y/N I want her to be my crew!"
Ace sweat dropped at Luffy.
"Ace"
Ace was alerted to the voice heard and immediately looked around. But he saw no one calling to him.
"I'm here Ace, inside your body."
Ace's mouth dropped open at what he heard.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"I'm what your brother straw hat boy is referring to"
He heard her chuckled.
Ace looked again at Luffy's whereabouts, staring at him as his eyes twinkled when he noticed Ace was talking.
"Ace are you talking to her right now? Unfair, let me talk to her too!" he whined like a child.
He heard Y/N's softly laugh again which made both his cheeks blush for no apparent reason. Ace's attention was again caught by the large crater in the middle. He remembered what Luffy had said earlier, and a conclusion immediately entered his mind.
"Did you do all of this?" Ace asked as he looked around at the marines lying on the floor.
"Yup"
Ace looked at Shanks when he felt his gaze. Shanks looked at him and seemed to notice that he was talking to the woman inside his body. Shanks gives him a serious look so he can't help but feel tense.
He was about to ask this when Ace spoke again.
"By the way, I won't be in your body for long, but before I finally disappear I will ask you to do something, it also benefits you since your captain is involved and I don't think he will last for some time."
Ace's attention immediately shifted to Whitebeard and when he saw his father condition he couldn't help but worry.
"Pops!" he shouts worriedly.
Y/N just hummed and couldn't wait for Ace to ask more questions.
"Hm, I'll give you this potion to cure your captain, his former strength will return and he will recover I assure you that. And all I want in return is to force you to live-no, live. Live for the people who loved and cherished your personality despite your true identity, and also live for yourself... I'm sorry because you've had the bitter experience since you were born, but all it happened for a reason and it won't last... that reason will give you light and hope. And yes, that light and hope is what you consider family. They can't just lose you like that, you're so precious to them and they need your warm and love too, Portgas D. Ace... So It's nice to meet you, best man."
Ace was stunned to hear. He didn't expect what she would say. His tears rolled down his cheeks and it quickly fell down. Ace couldn't even stop sobbing, in the years that had passed since his birth, it was only now that he felt such a feeling that he seemed so important to the whole world.
He needed those words, he had needed them for a long time and now that he had heard them and to the unexpected person, it made Ace feel even more happiness.
"T-Thankyou... ofcourse promise I'll live no m-matter what! Thankyou! Thankyou so much Y/N!" he cried with so much tears.
"You deserve to live... you deserve happiness and you deserve the people around you who love you dearly..."
Y/N's voice was already weak so he couldn't help but be alarmed because he wanted to know if he still have a chance to see her.
What he wanted to ask seemed to be answered when Y/N spoke the last time.
"This is not the end... We'll see each other when the sun goes down, Ace..."
Y/N's POV
"Y/N don't do this! Listen to me!"
I didn't pay attention to what Kalir was saying and I continued doing my sealing on him. Because this is the only way for him not to interfere with my plans.
"Create: Sacred Seal."
He struggled even harder with the force I released.
I no longer know what happened in the war, because it had been a day since I had finally left Ace's body. It's true my suspicion that Kalir was the reason why I ended up in Ace's body.
He said he didn't mean to do that, all he wanted was to put me to sleep. Not just to fall asleep and wake up immediately... but to sleep for a long time.
So I acted immediately as soon as I got back into my body.
And he can do nothing but be confined to that sacred seal. Only I can open it because I am the one who did it to him.
Our gaze met. I could clearly see the passing of pain in his eyes as he stared at me and then also immediately disappeared and was replaced by fear.
"Please... Be careful Y-Y/N..." he said weakly before finally disappearing and entering the necklace worn around my neck.
I fell to the floor feeling tired. I feel guilty for what I did but my decision is really final and no matter what I say to Kalir he will not change his mind and will not let me out of this island so there's no choice but to seal him.
I touched the necklace pendant. "I'm sorry..." I mumbled.
If it weren't for Kalir I wouldn't have the idea that there is another world. The world he tells me is his origin. The tools I use also come from him, he taught me how to use them and I can't deny that the world he comes from is interesting.
What I just can't be sure of is how he got into our world.
I said earlier that I didn't know where he came from, so I said that I showed him I didn't believe what he said and even more I didn't trust him.
But all that was just a show... I just didn't want to hurt him because as I said he didn't come from this world so instead of taking him out of this island I just chose to protect him.
Because of the years that have passed that I have been with him, Kalir has become important to me. I don't know what to do if something bad happens to him. So I chose to be selfish and decide that I would hurt him emotionally, yes, I'm heartless. Because if that way Kalir would be safe, that's the option I would choose.
