As I walked over, Yoo-Song opened the door of the passenger seat for me, like a true gentleman. I passed him a small smile and got in.
"You look lovely." he complimented, but I was in no mood to exchange pleasant words.
"You look good too." was my response. Lame, I know, right?
"Thank you?" he looked confused but got over it quickly.
"Hey, you know two days from now, it would be two whole years since I took over the company. Should we celebrate?"
Min Yoo-Song was the President of a Seoul-based cafe chain and inherited it from his dad, Min Sho-Kwan, the founder of Jade's cafe.
That punk already knew that he would be the line to own his family business and hence rarely paid attention to studies.
But it did lighten up my mood listening to him being happy.
"I guess we should. I'd plan something up."
In some more time, we were at the Blue Moon hotel, the venue of the reunion. When we reached, people were already flocking around.
I was starting to panic, looking at all that crowd when Yoo-Song was already outside the passenger door. Like a gentleman, he opened the door and held out his hand for me. I took his hand and got out of the car. Then did I realise that he had parked somewhere where all eyes would be on us.
"You punk! Why?" I gritted my teeth at him."
"I like making entrances, my lady." He smiled.
We walked into the hotel through the main entrance, arm in arm, and it felt good. I looked at him, and he returned my glance, and at this moment, I could feel everyone looking at us, only us.
At the whole party, Yoo-Song did not leave my side. Many people came over to us to mingle with Yoo-Song, but he did not leave me alone, even for a second.
I would hate to admit it, but I was starting to enjoy the party and although it was late, it felt like the night was still young.
Just then, I could feel Yoo-Song's hand on my waist, as he whispered in my ear, "Wanna go grab some drinks?"
