Yarin's POV:
"I'll kill you and take your body back with me," Tyle's voice no longer sounded human, as if a thousand flies were buzzing in his throat. "I'll show those self-righteous people who my lord's most faithful servant truly is."
He suddenly lunged at me as fast as a gust of wind. I instinctively blocked, but his fist, which seemed as hard as stone, actually shattered my forearm! I was sent flying like a meteor, and my back suddenly throbbed; I must have injured my spine.
"Urgh!" The sharp pain made me break into a cold sweat. I had no choice but to melt myself again. Clearly, facing him head-on was a bad idea, especially since the entire house was about to collapse.
Moreover, something even worse happened. Perhaps Tyle's strength was too great, but when he leaped to attack me, he actually cracked the ground underneath him—notice, the entire ground cracked, not just the floorboards.
