Yarin's POV:
After collecting the plants, the next step was to turn them into specimens. Fresh flowers and plants didn't last long; without proper preservation, they would wither within half a month.
"Wear your gloves and safety goggles, and make sure the straps of your lab coat are securely fastened. I've noticed some students quietly loosening the straps behind them. This doesn't comply with regulations. Don't make me personally come down and help you fasten them, alright?"
The stern dormitory manager urged the students to wear all the protective gear before the experiment. This prompted many students to sigh and complain; the baggy light blue lab coats were just unattractive.
Turning plants into specimens wasn't difficult. Emery taught us the methods, then descended from the podium to patrol around, waiting to assist anyone who needed help.
