As I thought further, it seemed like I had heard something. Some tabloid newspapers liked to attack and sensationalize things to grab attention, and the royal family was naturally not exempt from their reach.
Sometimes, I could overhear people discussing gossip from those papers, but to say that there were any malicious comments, it seemed very few and far between.
I shook my head, and Mom said, "So, that's the reality, dear. We aren't universally liked; it's impossible for everyone in the world to approve of us. But comparatively, since we've fulfilled our responsibilities and continue to pave the way for the future of the Lycan pack, our actions are seen by the people. They won't hate us as they would an enemy."
